FVMQ Fluorine Silicone Rubber Rings the excellent properties of silicone materials such as heat resistance, cold resistance, high voltage resistance, and weather resistance. Due to the introduction of fluorine-containing groups, it has excellent organic fluorine materials. Excellent resistance to hydrogen-based solvents, oil resistance, acid and alkali resistance, and lower surface energy performance.
Fluorosilicone rubber is also known as γ-trifluoropropyl methyl polysiloxane. Generally, 0.2% to 0.4% vinyl siloxane copolymerization modification is also introduced into the molecular chain. Colorless and transparent high viscous plastic straight-chain polymer compound, the main chain is composed of silicon and oxygen atoms, the side groups connected to silicon are methyl, vinyl, and trifluoropropyl, and the molecular weight is between 500,000 and 800,000. With various additives, it can be mixed into a homogeneous rubber compound. Under the action of organic peroxides, it can be vulcanized into various elastic rubber products. In addition to the characteristics of general silicone rubber, it also has excellent resistance to aviation fuel oil, hydraulic oil, engine oil, chemical reagents, and solvents. It can work for a long time at -55~+200℃.
Fluorosilicone rubber is synthesized from carbon tetrafluoride and ethylene as starting materials. It can be prepared by catalytic polymerization of trimethyl tri(3-fluoro propyl) cyclotrisiloxane and a small amount of tetramethyl tetra vinyl Cyclopentasiloxane (containing a small amount of end-capping agent) in the presence of a catalyst.
